ARCA-SWISS Masterclass Landscape Photography 2022
Masterclass with Victor S. Brigola and Walter Pfisterer / 14.-16.10.2022
Concentrated photographic knowledge meets excellent technique. "Masterclass" stands for taking your photography to the next level.
For the first time, you will have the opportunity to not only work with various ARCA-SWISS cameras in a fully detailed workshop, but also to learn the techniques of large-format photography to perfection in one event.
The goal of this workshop, which will last for several days, is of course to take beautiful landscape images, but also to learn how to use the digital view camera in general by applying the focus shift according to Scheimpflug and the compensation of plunging lines with the shift function.
Once the technical basics have been learned, the focus naturally shifts to design.
How do I compose my picture? How do I treat light? How does a different focal length influence my picture? How do I develop my own image language?
With Victor S. Brigola and Walter Pfisterer, you will be supported by two professional photographers with more than 50 years of combined experience. Their shared enthusiasm for ARCA-SWISS has led to the idea of creating a workshop in cooperation with ARCA-SWISS that is unique in Europe.
Through this cooperation, the most important view camera models and tripod heads will be on site, so that each participant can work intensively with a camera.
Another highlight of this workshop is the visit of Jean-Pierre Pieve, the managing director of ARCA-SWISS - you will get a first-hand insight into this extraordinary manufacture, which is known worldwide for its quality and innovation.
Victor S. has been working as a freelance architectural and landscape photographer for more than 20 years and is also teaching photography as a lecturer in Stuttgart and Innsbruck for more than 8 years.
He combines his expert know-how with the ability and enthusiasm to pass on his knowledge in a well-founded way and we are therefore very pleased to be able to win him as a lecturer for the Masterclass.
He is the owner of several ARCA-SWISS cameras himself.
Walter has also been working as a photographer for over 30 years. After graduating as a master photographer in Hamburg, he spent a few years as a photographer with Christian Teubner. His passion for food photography continues to this day and is the main focus of his work.
He has also been the owner of the arca-shop for more than 15 years and is therefore closely connected to the ARCA-SWISS company and the Vogt family.
In order to be able to work efficiently, the number of participants is limited to 8-10 people.
The workshop is open to all photographers (amateurs and professionals), regardless of which photographic equipment or formats they have worked with so far.
