Product information "Format frame F -metric 4x5, front"
The front format frame is the lens frame of ARCA-SWISS.
As a result of the pressure exerted when fixing the lens on the format frame, this locks safely into place with the bayonet mount. The same is, of course, also true for the bellows on the other side.
According to the size of the format frame, the following sizes of lens plate can be used: with 6x9cm it is 110 x 110mm, with the new 4x5" it is 141 x 141mm and with the old 4x5" it is 171 x 171mm.
There are 3 format frames with different constructions.
f-classic: the lens is moved upwards manually and fixed with the locking knob.
f-metric: the lens is moved upwards by means of a self-locking gear mechanism. As an option, one of the two orbix tilts can be added.
m-line: the lens is moved upwards using the function carrier. The orbix metric tilt mechanism is a built-in component
